Please consider making Hide&Seek an official game mode.

Just what the title says.

While playing it in custom game modes is fine and all, it just opens up way too many opportunities for trolls and jerks to troll and be jerks (and yes I know that they do it anyways but still though), and their most common excuse is that it's not an official Riot game mode so they think that they can do whatever they want and not get punished for it either.

I feel that by making this popular fan-made game mode an officially endorsed Riot game mode it would close up most of the opportunities and chances to troll and be jerks. I also understand that doing this would take a considerable amount of both time and effort to do as well, but I think that in the long run that it would well be worth both the time and the effort put into it as well, especially if it was on a completely separate map of it's own much like how ARAM is today, so there's that at least.

Honestly wish they just had custom custom games (such as being able to put what items can/cannot be bought, effects permanently on champions, such as every person on red side having trynd ult, damage/capture speed and more). That way you could have flexible rules, and still get rid of trolls.

I could see this as being one of their custom game modes to come out which would be pretty sweet. But if it were long term that'd be even better.

I agree that if it were for the long term then it would be even better than just for a featured game mode and that's it, as while having it being featured as an FGM is nice and all, it still just opens up allot of problems and also leaves the existing problems open as well, so because of that, giving it it's own map with it's own unique set of rules (i.e. recall disabled for hiders, seekers blocked from leaving their base until the 2 minute mark, only cc moves available for hiders to use, etc.) would to me just be honestly just be better off in the long run for everyone involved in it, at least if you ask me personally about it anyways, so there's that at least.

As a Featured Mode? Maybe.

As a permanent addition? Not going to happen because Riot only cares about SR.

I don't remember where exactly, but Riot has already stated somewhere on the boards that they do not only care about SR.

Officially, yes, they're "player-focused" and committed to supporting every game mode, not just SR. Realistically, their actions over the past few years have not supported that statement at all. Alternate game modes are just an afterthought, and minimal support is about all there is to hope for.
