Can Dominion get a tutorial?

Almost every single match I play of Dominion, there's someone on my team absolutely no sense of strategy or game sense.

Either they don't know when or where to cap points or they pick squishy late game carries that need constant protection like Ashe and run off on their own into the Jungle. Hell, there's probably only ever one person on my team besides myself that realizes holding 3 points is all that's necessary to win.

I would just like a little tutorial video showing off basic things that everyone should already know like "Hey, attempting to capture this point will prevent it from firing on your allied Master Yi as he tower dives poor Ryze." and "Top lane has one more Capture Point than Bot lane, so it is better to send more of your team top to contest those points" and even "Guard your points"(that one people have alot of trouble with for some reason).

Sorry for ranting, just sick of having to explain all this stuff every single match.

Typically you don't want to guard your points.

What you want to do is set up shop in the jungle and control the jungle entrances so you can exert pressure on the enemy mid and bottom. Do it well, and you can five-cap and close out the game. Milling around at Windmill is pretty much the WORST thing you can do.

But that's something the tutorial should cover. People default to pushing minion waves to take points because pushing minion waves to take towers is the default behavior in MOBAs. Personal score rewards many behaviors that, in fact, reduce your chances of winning.

Not just that, I also want Dominion (and perhaps Twisted Treeline) to have its own Spectate channel the way Ranked Draft SR and ARAM do (bottom-right of the main menu). Learning through a tutorial is one thing, but seeing how it plays out is another.

Doesn't matter, half of my teammates are always bots in Dominion games. Seriously.

I think adding some simple tips when you start the mode/loading screen might help. Something like:

"Use the fog of war to your advantage." "Try to establish jungle control as a team." "Be mobile and try to avoid staying in one place for too long" "Remember to gank bot lane". "Make sure you don't spend too much time farming in top lane, your team needs you!"

Riot would have to rephrase them to work psychologically better, but advice like that could really help players improve. Perhaps Riot should gather some of the most experienced tournament players from NA and EUW and talk with us what kind of advice should be given?
