I thought Riot was getting rid of bots

So I hadn't played dominion since before season 5, my friend and I decided to play a game, what we didn't know was that all the other players in the game were bots. http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/1902421120/210838453?tab=overview I thought Riot was banning botting but these "people" have overrun dominion I guess, it was disgusting they stood there doing nothing taking heal/barrier or heal/ghost and just autoattacking or using random spells on whoever came into range, it was just my friend and I with 3 bots on our team and 5 on the enemy team. This shouldn't be allowed to happen, even if no one cares about dominion.

It's just hard to remove. I mean, I remember when all bots took Ghost/Heal, but it seems Riot figured that out, so they changed it to all type of spells. It's not a change in the game, it's a program that plays the game for you. It's also hard to tell if the bots are just new players. If you got banned for "botting" as a new player, you probably would just leave the game. They also use to not talk at all, but I've heard of them having automated messages now.

can riot not just trace the botting players ip address and ban them that way like other websites and games do?

I don't know how that works exactly. But you could go to a library, or an internet cafe, or to the McDonalds, until all those places got banned. But I'm not knowledged in IP addresses.

I rather have the botters have to move location everytime they play and make it harder and harder for them. Riot should also add report as bot feature so im not reporting them a feeding or assisting rather exactly what it is.

Hm... That's reasonable. There's videos on Youtube telling how to bypass an IP block, just through a quick Google. There should be an option for reporting botting, but right now, most people report for either AFK or Refusing to Communicate w/ Team.

Also, on your lower comment, the botters adapt. They used to only use ghost and heal. My guess is Riot put a fix to that so now they use many SSs. There are some bots who do have automated messages. I don't think it'll be that hard to add smarter AI, like buying basic items and doing smarter things.

It's kinda lazy, but I think Riot isn't bothering because they'll just adapt. If they put a fix, botters will just find another way to get around it.

Thats the thing im level 30 so there shouldn't be any new players so it should be easy to tell who is a bot or not when they dont buy starting items, dont communicate with team, target turrets without minion support, dont back when low on health, bots are very easy to identify to anyone who plays TT most people know before minions spawn.

Riot is incompetent, we already know this. Your only solution is to just farm free wins off the bots until your elo is above all of theirs. Bots can't win except against bots. They are all super low elo. Just raise your own to where they can't reach.
