I don't think, in my 4 years of playing this game that I have EVER experienced this much negative game play in any game mode. This is absolutely absurd. I kept thinking, "It's ok, you'll get a good team eventually." NOPE. My first 10 games? Amazing team work, great players, fun games. Last 40 games? Absolutely crap. I really hope you stop making these "fun" game modes. All they do is promote negative game play/team work and only make people hate this game even more. Trust me, I don't care about losing I really don't. As long as I have fun I could honestly care less. But creating new game modes with "FUN PRIZES!!" Will only promote negative game play, toxic players, and punish good players for caring about this game. When will you focus on the core game rather than these stupid modes???

Heh, most of my Ascension games were much more positive than other game modes. It was rare for any harassment, whereas I tend to avoid summoners rift because of how hostile it can become. And, I typically saw much more teamwork on my team and the opponents. Though, I did notice it become a little more agressive the last few days with people wanting the perfect icon and as soon as that potential left some people would become negative because they saw the game as pointless, but you can't help people who are whiney and don't understand that the purpose of games is to enjoy playing them. But, yeah... my acsnesion games were almost universially more enjoyable than anyother game modes and I miss it.

So much disagree. o.o My last few games of Ascension on the last day it was offered were all losses because my teams weren't as cohesive as the opponent, but that was not the fault of the game mode or even toxic players. They were just bad at objective-focusing, group fighting, taking direction. Areas people can improve on, honestly. In those last few games, our opponents had spectacular teamwork. I was really impressed by their ability to move together, bait my teammates into 1v4 fights, and control the objectives. It was truly exemplary teamwork that I saw. only sad that my team couldn't match it.

I have had some fun with Ascension but I feel the same. I had many horrible games. A few good ones. Trying to get perfect was really hard playing with horrible people. Maybe Riot could do a better job of matchmaking to fix it.
