Legend of the Poro King is the worst game mode I've ever played

DISCLAIMER: This is my opinion. Don't get butt hurt because you like it and I don't.

First of all, Draft mode. really? Now we know we're going to get super wombo combo team comps every single time. This is why URF mode was unfun after about 4 games. Because it was quickly discovered what certain champions were good and what ones weren't and those ones were always played. There weren't enough to ban, so you had to always deal with a handful of champions every game. So now, we deal with complete 100% AOE wombo combo maximum CC team compositions that you can't fight which ruins the game.

But not only that, but the poro king is the dumbest shit I've ever seen. I had high hopes when they said the poro king was going to push harder, would provide a good AOE heal for your team, and deal a great amount of damage to the enemy team.... only to find out what he actually does is just act as an over sized minion that does next to zero damage and has a pathetic 20-50 health regenerative effect every so often. The poro king acts as cannon fodder 99% of the time and will dive under turrets when there aren't minions there and get killed within seconds of being summoned, which is the complete anti point of summoning him in the first place. To have that advantage for the short amount of time he's out, to be able to get something done against these bull shit AOE comps that people so disgustingly pick over and over again. More than half the time, he doesn't even suck up poros like he's supposed to, they fly right past him and still hit us. The poro king might as well not even exist as a mechanic within the game because it's so fucking pointless summoning him.

The only redeeming factor of this game mode is seeing the poros fly around the map like cannon balls. But as cute and cuddly as they are, and the design choice made behind their mechanics, nothing can fix this ultimately broken game mode. I expected something better than this, honestly. I don't feel entitled to anything, but if they're going to create game modes to keep their fans interested, at least make them worth while. But of course the poro skins cost real money to get, so unless you pay them 5 dollars you can't get a cute little poro skin for the 1 week the event mode is going to be out. Really Riot? We gotta pay money for poro skins we're never going to use after this next week? Really?
