Teambuilder matchmaking adjustment sucks ballsacks?!

I'm going to apologise in advance since I know I'm on tilt from a bad game.

Basically, I am Plat 5 right now at the end of Season 4 and I am a Support main who sometimes plays Mid assassins.

Therefore, when I purchase and try out Shen for the first few games, Teambuilder is supposed to match me up with people who are also new at their champions.

Can someone please explain why I had to go up against a Diamond 3 Singed in top lane? I mean What. The. Fuck. The dude is 8 division higher than me! I shouldn't ever be matched up against him in the first place! And Teambuilder decided that my second game ever with Shen was enough for me to go up against that? Seriously?!

Riot please fix the adjustment so that it's not "players new at their champion" but also tries to get someone at the same skill level as you? It was his first time as Singed top as well, but he should NOT have been in that game with me.

How am I supposed to learn a brand new champion when I get wrecked in lane by someone 8 (EIGHT) division higher than me?!

Needless to say that game was the most butt-f***ing stupid game I've ever played.

I go up against Diamonds 1s whom are playing their main...which is even worse.

I'm a lowly Silver V and I am regularly matched up against Platinum players. Every couple of games. And when I play a new champion and I get the "matchmaking adjustment," apparently that means "we decided to give you 4 absolute idiots for teammates, and here's an enemy Plat on top of that." Seriously, once I've played a champ enough for the adjustment to go away, the quality of the games goes waaaaay up.

Don't play Team Builder, simple as that. I was matched against 2 DIAMONDS in teambuilder when i was level 20.

I can agree its bullshit. I was like oh lets play new sorarka, a champion i literally have never played in team builder and maybe once over the past 2 years in a normal. Said match making stuff was active. I get 3 diamonds on my team and 2 on the other. Mother fucker, i'm unranked. THe other team had a soraka. She was diamond 3. Sure soraka is easy to play as, but the issue is that the other kid on my team was like silver 2 and there was a bronze on the other team. WTF kind of match making bullshit is this?

Also if i recall correctly my adc was the silver one on my team and the adc on the other team was diamond 4. So here we are, new to our champs up against 2 diamonds in lane. I'd be fine with it if it was a mid 1v1 or even if i was adc (that i knew), but that was fucking bullshit.

I imagine the pool of players to pull from is much smaller and then factor in that it's trying to then take from this small pool and place people in teams when they are queuing for specific roles makes the system have to just "guess this is good enough to work" a lot of the time so people aren't in queue for an hour.

I bet when new SR comes out and more people are playing TB, you'll see less of this happening.

I'm leaving another comment here just to say that I just had another game of these. I was playing Riven this time, I'm also new with her. And guess what? Diamond 3 Teemo who OBVIOUSLY played him before because he even had specific Runes and Masteries with his name on it.

I'm sick and tired of this broken shit. Riot just fix the goddamn matchmaking adjustment or just don't put it in at all because no game mode is better than a broken one.
