I'm sad that I've never played on the old TT map

I think I started playing League around the time the Twisted Treeline got changed, but I never actually played on the old map. I recently discovered the images of the old one, and I have to say, I like the design of the old one more. Even though the colours on the old Summoner's Rift were too saturated and stung eyes, and the new SR looks better with pastel colours, the reverse goes for the Twisted Treeline, but only in my opinion. I don't know. The new one is too dark and greyish-blue to me, it doesn't draw me in to play on it. But when I saw the images of the old one, they looked very interesting with the giant glowing mushrooms dominating the barely alive forest. I like the idea of the last living forest of Zaun - they destroyed every other. And there was Ebonmaw, of course.

The lanes of the map were different, though. Have some of you played on the old TT? How was it then, was it more of a maze than it is today? How was the ganking potential?

I'm still salty to this day of Riot not only not releasing certain teased maps like Magma Chamber, but also straight-up deleting them. The old Twisted Treeline is no exception, and I still miss it. Once upon a time there was a way to play 6v6 (that, as you know, Riot released as an official Featured Gamemode) on the only map, and one of my favorite nostalgic videos of a YouTuber by the name of ColbyCheeze showcases just how fun it was: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLL9gDMh10s

Well, best jungle ever (miss 20% AS wolf buff, huge MS Ghast buff, Red buff + Ebonmaw buff which increase your damages by 1% per level).

And the warding.

Oh and the bush jukes, the one hour games, the fact that comebacks were ALWAYS possible thanks to Ebonmaw. Would have loved to see it as a 4v4 map, a 2v2 bot lane, top laner + jungler.
