FPS drop on the new map

I do too. My overall FPS was hurt pretty badly. I went from 60+ FPS consistently on the old SR to never more than 30 on the new one. Sometimes it drops into the teens.

My GF who has a cheap computer could barely play. Awful change, hope they revert it. Old map was better.

How can I get the new map if I don't have pbe?

I use to never get 60 frames, always 30~ or less in team fights! now I'm always at a constant 60 frames with the new map... Not sure why everyone here is suffering on the new map. Also, aren't only team builder and bot games on the new map? It'll probably end up even smoother when it reaches the next phases of the SR beta.

Well i have had this problem when I play it on the PBE and now the NA servers, it only happends when there are more than 2 people on my screen at once and it drops from 30 down too 1-5, what i have to do to fix it is play with my sound disabled to increase my performance, the only down side to that is I lose pings if im not consistently staring at the map so I miss out on a good point of the game regardless >,< and I never can hit my because of it lol

My computer is a toaster, right now the new summoners rift makes the game literally unplayable for me. Spawning into the new rift I have 21-16 fps which is a nice drop from the 30-40 fps I used to have. When teamfights happen I might as well be playing a league slideshow, especially considering at max during a teamfight my fps was 8. For now I can't use team builder because i can't even control my champion or abilities during teamfights.

I've got the exact opposite experience.

I play the current map at about 14-22 fps (Potato of +1 graphical sucking), and the new SR at the same settings is 22-40fps.

There is a strange FPS lag the first few times I open the store, but after 2 or 3 times, that stops.

I also lost a lot of FPS on the new map

hmmm even this new laptop that i got (windows 8) i was at 75-70 fps and during team fights it drops rapidly to 1-5 fps however i turned off the sound and lower everything i still drop from 10-20 fps... i hope riot can do something about this..or many people will stop playing the game..

Indeed. Doesn't really affect me running 200+ FPS but I see dips towards 120. I can't see it be as drastic on lower end rigs but I can see it being a problem.
