HOW TO FIX CLIENT NOT PATCHING!!!!!! PLEASE LIKE SO EVERYONE WITH THIS ISHEW CAN SEE IT!!!

PLEASE LIKE THIS UP TO HELP ALL THAT HAS THIS PROBLEM THIS!!!!!!!!

a couple patches ago i had the same problem. went 6 days without being able to play because it wouldnt work. what i had to do was open the league file its self. go to the rads folder, go to the projects file, then the lol_patcher, then releases, next 0.0.0.21, then deploy, next scroll down and you will see two applacations 1 will be "lol patcher.eve" and the other one will be "lolpatcherUx.eve" MAKE SURE YOU OPEN THE FIRST ONE!!!!, now it will manualy patch your client. only problem is it will take around 3-4 hours to scan all of the files (around 20,000) your just going to have to sit threw it.

this is the only way i was able to fix it. and every time it needs patched i have to do this system. and it takes forever but its better than playing smite ;D

Mine stops at a random number of files and says update failed. the only thing that has worked for me was reinstalling. I'll just wait for a fix. Oh. After I reinstalled, it was working, but after I closed it it went back to step one. So not really a fix. :/

This hasn't worked for me.

I have read the whole page on patching on support.riotgames.com and tried everything suggested there including clicking help and then repair in the launcher window, disabling windows firewall, running the launcher as an administrator and forcing a repatch by deleting specific files under riot games/league of legends.

After the result was unchanged, I searched google and found a reddit post with other people experiencing the same or similar issues, where I riot employee had replied and did the workaround they had suggested, it failed also. After which I attempted several of the other players workarounds that they claimed to have worked on reddit and on the League of Legends forums. Obviously nothing has worked.
