Should Rek'sai have been a Brakern?

Call me crazy, but everything about Rek'sai's appearance yells 'scorpion' to me. Her large forelimbs, her long tail, her multiple legs, even smaller Xer'sai look scorpion like.

This led me to believe Rek'sai's kit may have been an abandoned Skarner full-rework that they liked and repurposed. But with Skarner's new association with Shurima and the nature and history of the Brakern unknown now, would this have been a good place for Rek'sai? Or rather, Rek'sai's kit?

I imagine a champion with her kit, labeled as 'Queen of the Brakern', building crystaline tunnels and shooting fractures while underground. So on, so forth. Maybe it could be a skin for Rek'sai one day. Anyone else get a similar vibe?

While I disagree that she looks that scorpion like,I have to say that she could have easily fit with the brackern,considering she has a similar colour scheme as skarner and lives in shurima just like him.

Also we don't know how the other brackern look like,they might not even look like scorpions,but like other animals,so the difference in looks(and behavior) could have been explained by that.

Regardless she also makes sense as a void creature,so it is a matter of preference

I can kind of agree, considering my first thought when they released her teaser was that Rito was giving Skarner the ol' Freljord treatment like Udyr and Trundle.

That being said, I'm glad she isn't. I like Skarner as the last of his kind, even though apparently he isn't via retcons.

how about retconning Skarner again and make him Skar'Ner and make a him a void creature? and when he gets his VO redone to remove the Crystal Scar quotes he gets a new Void voice and quotes?
