If LeBlanc turns into a higher scale rework...

In terms of LeBlanc updating, is it possible if her rework turns into a higher scale rework that we will see Model updates for her Base, Wicked, Prestegious and Mistletoe skins? They look rather dated, and myself as well as many other people worry her visuals will be forgotten about when they are almost as problematic as her gameplay.

"I don't know" is also an acceptable answer, I'd just like to see if she is updated again that she receive the whole package - that way you don't have to touch her in any aspect other then balance anymore. Yes, there are characters who need a model update worse - but if you update them now with her next update that is one less outdated model you guys have to worry about.

A LeBlanc VGU could happen if her gameplay proves to be too problematic and players request it enough. However, considering how much worse off other champions like Nunu and Malphite are, I don't think it's very likely for LB to take precedence. I agree a VGU would be the best thing for her though, as she is quite outdated visually and a full-scale rework would allow for larger-scope changes to her kit.

But if you look at it scientifically Leblanc has boobs and Nunu Malphite don't have boobs. Statistically Boobs > no boobs. Therefore Leblanc is theoretically more likely to get a VU.

So I guess they have to rework all of these before they are giving Leblanc the attention she needs. =/

This, it actually doesn't really matter that much. Just like people were demanding homosexual champions.

Fact is: We could have such a champion already, we just don't know it. Can anyone tell me the sexuality of these champions: Caitlyn Zed Yasuo Sejuani Jhin ? Probably not, since it never got stated anywhere. Because it simply isn't important for their story.

We just know from some champions that they are either bisexual or hetero, given some evidence in Lore. Darius Comic showed that he had a sexual relationship to a woman and a child with her. Xayah Rakan Obviously.... Gangplank Illaoi Used to be a couple in the past, could have changed though.

If they are releasing a new champion with androgynic features, who tells us that this champion isn't transgender? Does that really matter? That champion will most likely be a legend in this world for the things he/she accomplished in the lore, not because he/she is transgender.

In the same way Ahri Evelynn Elise Cassiopeia sexualities add to their personality. Having a homosexual character would add to theirs. Having a male champion who flirts with other males, or a female champion who makes sly passes at the females goes a long way in portraying the character in a different or interesting light.

Sexuality a defining element of EVERYONE. Especially people who claim it isn't important to them.

Fully agreed. Riot does not seem to give any signs of updating old character models for champions who have already received substantial gameplay changes. Since LB now possibly needs somewhat substantial gameplay changes, it would be logical to give her a well deserved visual update/overhaul.

Her "smoke and mirrors" theme could be more present on her aesthetics. I mean the shadow cloak on Yorick looks cool... could LB get one too? Maybe just an enhanced version of her current cloak which includes some neat shadow effects.

AFAIK, rito said that they're not gonna do texture updates, or "incomplete VGUs" anymore. For that I mean things like Kassadin (who got a new model, but nothing else), or Shen (who got new kit, new model, new lore, but no VO and no recall either). Now it's gonna be either full on VGU - New kit, new lore, new model, new everything - or just gameplay update - think rek'sai, whose model wasn't old anyway. Of course this isn't set in stone, they may very well change their policy further at some point. But for now this seems to be the chosen route.

Now, to focus on LB: rito said it'll be purely a gameplay update, so not the full package. She's certainly getting new animations, as much as the update is going to require. So in short: no, I wouldn't expect a full VGU for LB, not in the next 2 years at least.

Then again, if they realize that they're getting fairly close to an actual VGU, they might go for it. But you have to realize that a full VGU is a far greater project than a gameplay update, they'd have to mobilise and coordinate more people. And it would postpone the LB changes for 3-4 months at least, given the visual work needed at that point (new model, all new animations, new VO, new splash, promo site, teasers, and lots more).

I agree, although I'd just like that they'd finish their work on some of the champs they didn't completely update.

Even Shen to me looks way older to Taric, despite being updated 3 months form each other. Taric got everything remade, Shen has the same limited VO, no new recall (he then got one from stitching together his other animations). Same for Kassadin and Fiora (I don't know if there's someone else).

LeBlanc will have a Gameplay based update, so no new VFX/ SFX when it isn't needed and model changes are very unlikely that they are done by the LG-Team
