Sona Theory.

Hey all, unfortunately, Sona was not covered in the Demacian update and is still due for new lore. However, Demacia is no place for mages in the new lore, they constantly have to live in fear of exile or worse execution, should their powers be found out. So what of Sona? From Quinn's new lore, the stage was set for Sona's lore, her adoptive family out on a hunting excursion, were massacred by the beast they set attempted to kill, this is where in the lore Buvelle family would have had motive to adopt. However, going all the way to Ionia (of all places) seems unlikely for a Demacian family, could it be that Sona would no longer be Demacia after her lore update, or perhaps, it is her Ionian connection that would be lost?

A mother, exiled to the annulment slums, begs for the knights to take care of her daughter, the mourning Buvelle family to adopts her child seeing that the child need not face the consequences of her mother's actions. Or so the mother lead them to believe, throwing her life away for her daughter she made seem as though she was the mage and not Sona.

Just some ramblings of mine, ideally if I were writing the story, Sona's mother would have abandoned her at the gate of the Buvelle manor, the night before she would be taken away to the slums, and the Buevelle family, with no heirs and a Demacian heart, would see no reason to reject the child, raising her up. However, Quinn's age has to be accounted for, Quinn being older than Sona is not my gripe but Quinn's lore makes no mention of how long she has been with the ranger-knights to current date, and that's the issue. I strongly think Sona is strictly only going to be either Demacian or Ionian after the update as, not only is Ionia the nation with the most prevalent use of magic, there is also Noxian presence here and there. Your thoughts?
