Champions based on sub-factions

In light of the recent discussions of Ionia's over saturation and Reav3 teasing more lore champions to come, opposed to talking about named characters we'd like to see; Citheria, Tamara or Rafen. What about champions based on named sub-factions/ professions/ niche roles?

For example, "Zed's apprentice/ Order of the Shadow disciple" used the be a very requested character niche and the "Darkin" being there are only 5 of them, are always requested. Killing 2 birds with one stone Riot fulfilled these 2 requests when they released Kayn, Zed's apprentice wielding the Darkin scythe Rhaast.

In my opinion Demacia has the most potential for new champions, with sub-factions/ professions such as: the Dauntless Vanguard, Raptor Knights and Mageseekers. I'd like to see champions for each of these sub-factions within the Demacian lore.

If League was solely based on Demacia majority of the champions would come from the Dauntless Vanguard, although Garen is their leader, the Vanguard is Demacia's most elite warriors and a legend in their own right. (Cithria cough cough)

Each member of the Vanguard is one of the most well trained soldiers in the Kingdom; they are all adept with multiple weapons and boast a wide knowledge of battle tactics and warfare. Each is a legend in their village or shire, but all of them seek to have their names known throughout the realm.

A Raptor knight/ Silverwing scout would also be a nice addition to cavalry champions like Kled and Sejuani.

The Mageseekers are an important part of Demacia's culture, Demacia is prejudice toward magic, however the Mageseekers represent the logic and rationale behind this prejudice rooted in the need to hide themselves from magic's danger. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EHTQStnUYAAx61E.jpg

I would also like to see another Ascended champion. While we do already have a hand full of Ascended champions and the Darkin were even confirmed to be Fallen former Sunborn, it feels "off", that the only Ascended left are: Nasus due to self exile during the Darkin war, Renekton and Xerath who were sealed and the recently ascended Azir. Ascended that did not participate in the war were left alone by Targon namely Nasus, whereas Ta'anri killed by Myisha as a consequence of his participation although he aided her in slaying some of his brethren. So what of Ascended who instead protected mortals from their Darkin brethren? Certainly there would not have been many of them, even less still alive, but not even a single one!?

Alternatively to another self exiled Ascended or an Ascended that survived the Darkin war, with the return of Azir and Xerath potentially new Ascended warriors can be born depending of story developments later on in the lore.

An Ursine champion and Frostguard Iceborn are 2 more I would love to see from Freljord. What are some sub-factions you are hoping get a champion or are expanded upon? Are you also excited for any I mentioned?

I personally would like to see a Shuriman sunpriest. Maybe some of them survived and the remains of them gathered in some city (maybe Nashramae?)

A Baccai champion would be lovely. We know they exist, yet we still have not seen a single one in the lore, let alone in the game as a champion.

Obviously a Watcher or one of the Void masters would be a great addition. They’d be a worthy rival for Aurelion Sol.

Talking of Sol. Dragons. We know that there over 200 dragon species in Ionia, and that elemental drakes originate from Ixtal. Why not make more dragon champions? Perhaps a dragon vastayah could be a very nice addition to the thin roster of champs from this region.

Altough Urgot kinda fullfills this to some degree, a chembaron champion would be welcome. Perhaps the one from the Zaun story in the Realms of Runaterra Book.

A champion from the tribe of Lissandra, the Frostguard. This is the least represented tribe of the three, so more champions could be added to it.

A true Blessed isles champion. Not someone who survived the Ruination and got twisted by it , but someone who managed to remain completely untouched by the black mist.

And lastly a champion from the region between Noxus and Demacia would also be a great addition. We know they use magic, so maybe it could be some kind of a shaman.

I feel like Riot trying hard to make champions fit a certain lore has really hurt the actual design of released champions lately. Look at Sett, Aphelios and Sylas. They might have interesting stories, but they just look like... dudes. Nothing really makes them stand out. I think this first started with Xayah and Rakan that really don't look special at all to me. Of course it doesn't apply to every champ, they come up with stuff like Yuumi, but Kai'Sa and Qiyana also feel that way to me. If they to make more champions based on current lore, I hope they still make them look and feel like champions and not like the secondary characters they currently are.

That sounds interesting! i really like the two female characters in the drawing you included. Not a fan of the things on their faces, but the rest of the outfit design is pretty awsm, and I like the idea of showing different sides or parts of a main area/faction.
