If Jarvan III ever dies, petition to change this J4 line.
Instead of saying "For my father, the King." He should say "For my father, the dead."

He should say as his pick - "The king is dead, long live the king!". "For my father, the dead" is too disrespectful . He may say "In honor of my father!". It has the same meaning for a battlecry but without the "dead" part. It sound like J4 is fighting for a corpse.
Since it is not in memes and games I shall speak for real.

In-game doesnt have to evolve like the universe version has the potential to do. So like in this hypothetical of J3 dying or being already dead, we can just interpret that J4's in-game is set at a fixed point before his father's 'death'.
Hold on a sec...didn't Sion kill J3 and is using his crown as his jaw?!?
