I read the storys regarding Garen (really liked them), but i didn`t read anything about them. Cause if you redcon this then 
lines about those 2 became outdated in less then a year.

GreenLore1 votesI'm just clarifying why this part was left out of the Garen bio,as the opener feared that it might become non-canon. However the fact that they want to revisit this in a seperate story confirms already that GarenxKata is still a thing(or will be a thing),so there is no need to fear that it might be retconned.
And like jeddy said,if they think that kata is unimportant for Garens backstory,then the opposite will also apply,so unless we get an additional story about GarenxKata(which seems rather unlikely as the additional stories will likely focus on Urgot or Noxus),they won't revisit it in the noxus update.
