I read the storys regarding Garen (really liked them), but i didn`t read anything about them. Cause if you redcon this then 
lines about those 2 became outdated in less then a year.
They clarified that they want to explore their relationship in a seperate story,because it would have felt forced and out of place to mention Katarina in Garens bio,as it isn't connected to the rest of it.
Pretty sure Garen doesn't even have the balls to talk to Katarina.
Hope not that whole ship felt forced like riot wanted their own romeo and juliet story talon and kat seemed more believable tbh
