@Riot Will the Assassin update give some assassins an updated lore or splash art?
sorry, but i really love how lore ties together some character and we get to know more about the world they live in and the current timeline.

No, that's not what these updates are for.
Fizz needs a new base splash art... hasn't been updated since 2011
Maybe a splash art but surely not new lore, different teams.
I truly hope Shaco gets some small visual updates.
The roster updates are specifically gameplay focused, so new lore or splash art is unlikely unless it was already in production. Which is probably what happened with Malzahar & his new splash.
Look at what happened to the Juggernauts, Marksmen & Mages, no new lore or splash art, excluding Malz, was released along side the reworks.
Simple answer: No. It may have updated 1 Splash Art such as which Malzahar received on the Mage update. These updates are gameplay focused.
