to me, it looks stylistically different, not worse. which makes sense, since it's art from a different region.
let me be honest here... I like the chance to see these new-styled arts. it's honestly kind of exciting :O

Because a lot of them are worse and Riot still changes them.
Some of them are good, but a lot of them, for our art style, recognition of the champions, and personal preferences, are not very good. Such as Goth annie, and that cookie morgana skin
Short answer: There are plenty of objections that have been made and quite a few of them are valid.
But you don't even have to go that far; It's not because of style. There are numerous, objective errors in the splashes, no special opinion or expertise required. Simple things like basic failures in the depiction of scale, perspective and rendering human anatomy correctly.
E.g. https://i.imgur.com/yuGzvlJ.jpg The majority of the splashes are amateurish and error filled and simply do not meet professional standards.
Asking this on multiple posts: I have an honest question.
I am an artist and I have bought my skins based 100% on the SPLASH ART not the in game appearances. So, having paid for a certain work and having it change on me, am I able to have my RP refunded? Im not asking for any actual money back, just the RP (which I'll use for another splash i appreciate). Is this an option?
For some of the splashes, sure, they're different while still not looking terrible. Gentleman Cho'Gath and Longhorn Alistar for example. But can you seriously look at new splashes like Sinful Succulence Morgana, Gangster Twitch and Cottontail Teemo and say that they're not bad splashes?
