I don't believe the Ixtal Territory in the Universe Map

When they first mention/revealed the Ixtal Faction, I was so excited because the eastern jungles would really become a faction on its own and all of the jungle champs would have a place now and very well represented. However, looking at its territory in the map, its so small.

I think the territory is only best suited if it is only highlighting the Ixaocan Territory/Ixaocan City, but not, Its the whole Ixtal. I expected the Ixtal Region to be all the Eastern Jungles and even Kumungu is part of it. Even jungle champs live and spread outside of the Ixtal Map Territory(based on the map) going from the kumungu jungles, to the serpentine delta or even to mud town/paretha. I expected it to cover this territory other than the one seen in the map.

I hope you guys could reevaluate this, and i hope I could get your side on as to why the Ixtal Region is so small. Thanks and more Power!!

PS: If the elemental drakes are in the Ixtal Region, it means, shyvanna's mother lives there are maybe she is an infernal drake. this is a nice touch since a pilty found her egg and piltovans has connections to Ixtal. I really hope Yvva's volcano could be seen in the map or is it an inactive one/ a flat one like yellow stone thats why it can't be seen/comprehend in the map?

To be blunt...it'd be hard to have a hidden society...if it was a large af society.

I don't know, it doesn't seem that small to me. Also, the forest/jungle has been increasingly exploited from Piltovans and others so it would make sense if it once was larger than it is now since Ixaocans want to stay hidden from the rest of the world.

Well Region and Faction are two different things. Reav3 said over on Reddit that the Kumungu jungles are part of Ixtal. As you can see, they're not in the highlighted territory. So Ixtal can mean both the region and the faction, but the faction is clearly smaller than the region. Remember the Empire of Shurima, on the continent Shurima, with the capital Shurima? That's Ixtal in Ixtal.

I completely agree for one simple reason: Nidalee, Neeko, Rengar and Zyra all roam the jungles, they are in no way real members of Ixaocan society. So how can they be considered part of the faction, if they are technically not in their borders according to the map?

Alongside that, take the Freljord for instance. They are BARELY a faction, and more like a hodgepodge arctic wasteland with a bunch of neutral, warring tribes against one another. If the Freljord can be considered a faction in that sense, why can't Ixtal have proper borders?

Not at all, in fact I think it could've been smaller and more centered. It's a secret society. The bigger it is the less believable that it is that they stayed out of reach for the last 1000 years. It should be the smallest aside from Piltover and Zaun.

Its' positioning is actually perfect on the southern coast flanked by the inhospitable Icathia and The Shadow Isles with thousands of miles of jungle to the north. It makes sense how nobody from the outside would stumble upon it

I have alot of problems with the map. Shurima is too small, it should be way bigger like valoran with targon being more north western. My shuriman continent would stretch west to those two big islands south of Demacia. The south and eastern coast would be expanded to feel less empty and the interior would include more grasslands, rivers and lakes. Imo Shurima =Africa/Middle East, Valoran=Europe and Ionia=East asia/India. Ionia would have 1 or 2 more main islands,both being greener/tropical and i would move the continent easter while making it the size of australia/Oceania/SEA. This part of the map is the old world but Ixtal confuses me because it looks Mesoamerican which is new world and i thought they would save those cultures for future continents. It feels out of place.
