The way champion interactions work for Aatrox is how all champs should be like.

Seriously almost all of Aatrox’s taunts come from the first approach towards the enemy champion and it works beautifully and makes the world they’ve been building much more alive.

Meanwhile most champs (especially Aurelion Sol) have a massive selection of special taunts that are practically never used because you need to be:

-right next to then

-have to taunt

-only works 1/5th of the time.

You shouldn’t need to taunt to trigger these lines anyways, nobody taunts unless the animation when you spam it looks funny. Nobody thinks “lol let me get close to guy and taunt to trigger a SPECIAL voiceline”. All current taunt special interactions should be switched to automatic and there’s not really a reason why not.

I like Swain’s because they go off of his soul collection. But I think it’s the same where it procs only once per champ during the match.

i agree, taunts should auto trigger.... 99% of the time i only ever use dance, taunt, etc in the 1st 2-3 mins of the game.... the problem with auto triggering is they would perma trigger though out the game and become super fcking annoying... now if they found a way to make sure the taunt only triggers every 5-10 mins.. (btw should be pretty easy bit of code) then yeah it would be a nice feature

But they only auto trigger for the player the enemy cant hear taunted lines at all right(idk how it is with aatrox but kled talks alot but as the enemy you dont hear kled say anything)

The only other thing with interactive VOs is that Riot never really looks ahead or goes back and records lines for (as an example) Rhaast so that he can actually interact with Aatrox in-game. It feels awkward as hell and breaks the fantasy - one champ has all of these lines and the other is just sitting there like a f*cking potato.

i dont see the point in going though all that effort to make around 10 mins of voice overs to never have hardly any of them said... waste of riots money that could be spent balancing or bring new champs out

Veigar says nothing if he doesn't taunt, the only thing he does do is laugh when someone dies, and they only added that a few seasons ago when he made practically no sound.

It would be kind of awkward if everyone had auto-taunt though, because then there's the chance two champions are just going to be yelling at each other at the same time, blocking out the other one's line.

Well, I think that approach one is good, but also ones that trigger from killing a champion. Those are the best ones. :)

Don't forget roast lines he makes when someone flashes mastery! Ah, makes me even mofe satisfued when wrecking Yasuo, Zed and Riven mains. :^)
