If MF killed GP why is he still playable?
Just really weird to read about MF killing him, yet he's still playable. Did he somehow survive unknown to her?

Because he didn't die. Bilgewater just doesn't know it
He wasn't available to play while the world assumed he was dead. It was revealed he escaped death, and he was reenabled in game.
Honestly, even the few days he was disabled ticked off a lot of people.

She blew up his ship and everyone assumed he died, but he's alive and currently biding his time to amass power and retake Bilgewater. Check out "Burning Tides" and Illaoi's short story for more info.
Funny story, when that bilgewater event was released and GP was reworked, the lore was released in parts. Initially, GP's current captain skin was released as his classic skin after the VGU, but then when the lore where he was 'killed' by mf was released, he was disabled for a while. And then he came back when that piece of lore was released, with his captain skin given away for free to anyone who played him x number of times during the event.
Firstly to say that Gameplay and Lore never go together especially in a moba, they are 2 seperate things that interact with each other but lore doesn't affect gameplay directly otherwise Aurelion Sol
would just destroy all champions. Apart from that she never killed Gangplank, he survived but had to cut his arm off because of an infection and the damage it took so he put a replacement hand there.
