What are your theories?

... For why champions can do certain things?

The champions are powerful, and have a lot of different powers. But what do you think gives them these powers.

For example, Rengar, why can he go invisible? He's doing it in the new splash and in A New Dawn. Is it a magical trinket he carries? Is he cursed/blessed with this power? Is it innate to his species, of which he is the only one ever seen?

How about Katarina , how does she teleport? Is it just a representation of her speed? No, because shes obviously teleporting in A Twist of Fate and her new splash. Are her daggers enchanted? Is it a refined, Noxian blademaster technique?

And for that matter, how do Yasuo and Riven make the wind strike so powerfully?

Any ideas? Could make for a fun discussion.

Hmmmm...

Rengar can become invisible due to kitty powers. All cats have this power.

Katarina can Shunpo by cutting a rip in time space between herself and her enemy. Its the cause of the retcon. Because of all her meddling with time and space Summoners no longer exist. The IoW no longer exists. And now Skarner who use to be a scout and leader of his people is some random vault gaurdian. Eventually she will destroy the entire world outside of about 30 champions and summoners rift.

Yasao and Riven both eat too much beans.

In yasuos case it is simply a special sword technique and in the case of riven it might either be a sword technique or a power of her enchanted sword.

Shunpo is a technique taken directly from the Bleach universe, and there it's essentially moving faster than the eye can follow or something to that effect.

Trundle is a guy whose abilities seem a bit weird and unclear, but I like to imagine they come almost entirely from his club Boneshiver combined with his troll-blood. Suffice to say Boneshiver is powerful, but unlike other True Ice weapons which respond to human wielders with strong Iceborn heritage, Trundle naturally evolved in the Freljord and as such Boneshiver's connection with him is way more natural, and gives him a greater connection to Freljord's natural energies, letting him take power from the land itself when he uses abilities like Pillar of Ice and Frozen Domain.

Rengar might just be able to go invisible because he is a magical beast, like Wukong and other creatures with roots in Kumungu. That's assuming he stems from there, though. It's not explicitly stated where he grew up or where his territory is.
