A lot of people are saying that the blade is the Darkin, not in fact the humanoid. I thought "The darkin blade" meant he was the swordfighter amongst the Darkin. And since Riot has so kindly left this race up for debate, i was going to ask if it were plausible that every darkin has a niche they fill, and if they would possibly be added into the game.

In the Vastaya researchers journal, it mentions the Darkin as a race of sentient weapons. So, the blade is confirmed to be Aatrox, but exactly what the body that is wielded by it is, is still unknown.

Honestly I do hope that the 5 darkin will eventually be able to form a functioning team.
And I do think that every darkin will represent a different weapons(if the whole "sentient weapon"-thing is actually true,the guy who wrote about them might have been mistaken),I mean the title "Darkin blade" feels meaningless if another darkin were to use a sword.
