We need some more Piltover champions

In light of the amazing new comic, we get some character development on Jinx (Kinda...?) and especially Ziggs. We see a bit more of how Yordles work in Runeterra and we see some more lore on Ziggs and Heimerdinger. In the end however, Ziggs ends up moving to Zaun, after being caught in Piltover as a yordle. Firstly, I just have to say that I love this development, Ziggs not only seems like he fits more with Zaun culture than Piltover, but he's a perfect example of one of Zaun's key features being that they don't have the tight restrictions of Piltover, essentially allowing someone like Ziggs to be free in his work.

However, we have essentially just lost of one of our already small Piltover roster, do you think we'll get anymore Pilties in the future?

If we look at the Universe site we currently have **12 **Demacians, 12 Zaunites, 7 Pilties, **9 **Shadow Islanders, 5 Targonians, 9 Shurimans, 6 Bilgewatians, 18 Ionians, 12 Freljordans, and 11 Noxians. 7 Champs are connected to the Void and 6 to Bandle City, the rest are factionless. From this list, we can see that Ionians have a staggering lead, but we have to remember that Ionia was retconned to be a separate continent from Valoran. So it makes sense so many champions are from such a massive area of land. I do agree that Piltover, Targon and Bilgewater are unrepresented but Bilgewater and Targon are relatively smaller areas compared to the others on the list. I think Piltover should definitely get more champs to try and equal Zaun at least. Demacia and Noxus are relatively even. I think Zaun is just a more interesting place than Piltover, so maybe it is easier to make champions from there? Also, I'm aware the list isn't a perfect representation since multiple champions are from multiple areas. Kayn for example was born a Noxian but now lives in Ionia, and considers himself an Ionian (I'd imagine).

Yes, definitely. After the removal of Ziggs, the total list of Piltovian champions looks like that: Caitlyn Camille Ezreal Heimerdinger Jayce Orianna

That's it, 7 champions. Compared to the lists of champions for regions like Demacia or Noxus, that is too small. I hope we get more champions from there and that Riot is taking a little break from Demacia, Noxus, Ionia and these regions and focus on regions with too few champions....

If we are looking at the roles, we could use a support champion from there next. Orianna and Heimerdinger can be played there, but it is an off role and they are not designed for that position. A champions specifically designed to be a bot lane support would be great. Another jungler would be fine as well, since Vi is the only one (I know, Ezreal is played jungle right now, but I expect that to change in future balance patches if he becomes stronger in bot again).

Piltover always has been and always will be the least interesting region in league. I will feel no loss if riot does not add more champions to that area.
