A Small Change to the New Irelia Splashart...THAT REALLY HELPS...

Don't get me wrong, I really do love the new splash art (not as much as the one that was teased a long time ago, but it still works), but if there is one thing that really rustles my jimmies is that lack of a background and the simple blotch of green in the 'background.' So I decided to fix that pet peeve of mine by adding a background myself using photoshop...

And the change REALLY, REALLY HELPS.

Please Riot, do something, anything to slightly change that background. Literally a kid fucking around on photoshop was capable of doing it.

(Realized this was in The Concepts & Creations Board so I wanted to put it where it really belongs).

It's likely that Irelia will get a completely new splash art within the next few patches anyway,I mean warwick's splash was leaked around the same time as Irelias and Warwicks is now actually finished and will be part of the next patch.

Anivia's leaked around the same time and hers was released ages ago, so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Yeah, but they said that we can expect more splash arts(for skins and classic ones) in the next patches,so there is a good chance that hers will be among those;)

well then. Riot, fucking use that art because damn that's good.

idk about you guys, but Irelia looks really awkward in this splash. There's something off about her stance.

I remember this thread from the last time I posted in it.

This new splash art much like her old one is so terrible.

Neither matches the quality standards of more current splash art, she needs a real new splash art.

i really wish riot update all the splash arts in the game before the first one they update get outdated, it worth the effort to update all the champions existent instead of creating more
