I think the Ivern skin looks good.

I like the detail.

his leaf afro makes me happy

when he dashes to an enemy it makes the basketball floor squeaks, I like that too.

another edit cuz I'm a degenerate - I agree that better skins could have been chosen and this is ivern first skin since launch which is what makes it disappointing, I get that, but that dosnt change my opinion of it being a good skin.

I think the skin is amazing in concept, but the execution isn't great, especially having to do with the colors. The VFX/SFX and Wilt chroma do make up for it a little.

I respect your opinion, and IF Ivern had other skins in his library other than his launch skin, I don't think it would be that bad. But given that this is his first post-launch skin, it leaves a really shitty taste in people's mouths after having waited so long for his first skin.

It's not that people exactly hate the idea of it, they are just upset that they waited almost 3 years for THAT skin line to be picked for him over others that would have suited better.

I liked it too but is it worth the wait for mains? No. Will it fill the gap because Ivern probably won't get a skin for a long time? Also no. They should just ask the players of the unpopular champs when they make stuff, since they already get 1/3 of the skins normal champs get.

I personally hate the skin, but it makes me happy to know that even if I think the skin is a terrible piece for Ivern there are people who do genuinely enjoy it.

Its not a bad skin really, the main thing about it that pisses people off is that this is ivern's first skin since release and its not near the quality of fan concepts, or even other first skins like blood moon pyke, odyssey kayn, or coven camille.

It looks like a joke skin, which isn't bad because it is a good joke skin, the timing is just not right for it.

It's not a bad skin. Imagine Ahri or Lux getting a skin like this? They are happy cause they know they will get another one next year and already got ~6 other good to great skins to choose from. But Ivern? We got base, Candy King and now this after 3 years. And seeing like a dozen great concept arts and fanmade ideas of what his skin could look like thus making us disappointed

Once I saw the skin spotlight I hated it a bit less. The preview really didn't do the skin justice at all, and the splash art is pretty good. My only problems with it now, are his head being a giant Cheeto ball (though I hate it less now), and the fact that its name is "Dunkmaster." Ivern doesn't dunk, name it something else D:

The sound design for this skin is top notch. The basketball bounces and floor squeaks sound great. The whole glasses and afro aesthetic works great too. I raised an eyebrow when I saw the skin was Dunkmaster, but I think it turned out surprisingly well.

It sucks that it didn't please everybody, but I don't think anything would have worked for everybody. Some people were asking for an "Ivern the Cruel" or some "robot" skin, and I wouldn't have liked that for Ivern at all.

I love it, it's not perfect and maybe could use some quality improvements, but the theme is excellent, the general look a is great. makes me want to try Ivern.

I dont think its bad but it just feels really disconnected from Ivern in my opinion and as someone that has been advocating Dunk Mistress Illoai and Ivern the Cruel I feel a little robbed. glad you're taking some enjoyment from it though.

I think the main issue i have with it is how hard the splash is to "read". You have to stare at it for like 10 seconds to make out what's going on.

Being an Ivern main, It felt like it a slap to the face waiting this long just to get a skin that wasn't to your liking, but not everyone will be satisfied. I'll buy it. But I'm probably gonna stick to his Candy King skin.

it just doesn't fit ivern like when i think of ivern i dont think of any sport or anything like that thats why i dis like it i wish it was more to do with the champ and i really like ivern so i have been waiting like 2 years for a new ivern skin and its just a eh skin when champs that have like 5 skins already get really good ones every 2 months just kinda upsetting to see that they dont care as much ab that champ as they do for others at roit [zombie-nunu-bummed]
