Vi...born in Zaun?
So according to Ekko, Vi comes from Zaun.

Wow. We learned more about the lore in one voice line then we have in months of waiting for a lore update.
I don't know why, but I feel like it took Riot a lot longer to let us know about this than I had hoped.
I mean, it's interesting, but the quotes don't offer much besides "Ekko knew Vi, she used to live in Zaun." :^|

Not only that, but, he, she and Jinx used to be in the same gang (probably with the goggles kid from the "Seconds" teaser too). (Ekko also had a crush on Jinx, until she "started talking to the guns". :P )
Makes sense, Vi is a technological genius (at least to an extent) and it seems like Zaun is full of... intelligent youth.
Judging by those quotes, I'm guessing that Vi used to be a big sister figure (not to mention she wears goggles, which may be a common Zaun trend).
If I were to hazard a guess, Vi and Jinx might have been affiliated with each other. If I recall correctly, Jinx used to sign with an X to annoy Caitlyn or something, and Caitlyn is plagued by some "C" figure. Ekko has no number affiliation, so he was probably part of the successor generation to Vi and Jinx's gang, along with this mysterious "C" (who I bet will be a future champion). Anyway, Jinx and Vi split and went down separate paths due to the even that led to Vi leaving and becoming a vigilante and eventually a cop. Jinx embraced the chaos and became pretty much batshit crazy, while Vi controls herself and lets it out in barely self-controlled moments appropriate for the situation. Ekko may look down on both, one for completely losing control and one trying to control what shouldn't be put on a leash.
Dude, of course, VI is Jinx sister, but jinx is so crazzy right now that doesn't remember it.
And Vi... prefers to no remember it.
Since VI is VI, Jinx is X and Ekko is XII that makes the obvius canon.

last i remember from her release her lore story told of that she was from zaun not piltover. same with jinx and she is only to cause trouble to vi so she just followed her to piltover.
