Can a Rioter explain to me why Aatrox's Right Arm looks way different to his left?

Since he has a conection with Tryndamere, his right arm is a lot stronger than his left arm

I think they once said that it was a design decision,so that his "non-sword"-hand doesn't look so slim and empty.
