Fiddlesticks in the New Lore
With the IoW gone, will one of our most enigmatic and haunting champions be relegated to the Shadow Isles? I don't really see any alternative.

No. A town is established where the IoW stood in the original Lore. Fiddlesticks inhabits an unfortunate baker's back closet instead of the spell-sealed room within the Institute. Still haunting, still in a small dark room.
One day, some street urchin breaks in to steal day-old buns to feed himself and his homeless younger sister. He ventures into the closet not knowing the horror contained within.
Warmed by life essence for the first time in decades, the scarecrow animates. There is once again a bare, barren splotch on the land, no longer containing the IoW or the hapless village that replaced it in the new lore.
All that can be heard is a blood-curdling cackle, carried on a dark wind that blows through empty streets.
He doesn't necessarily need to be relegated to the Shadow Isles.
AFAIK, The Harrowing is part of canon. Fiddlesticks and Nocturne could very well represent the manifestations of fear/terror for this festival.
Fiddlesticks could be physical manifestation of what the children of fear, effectively the Bogeyman of Runeterra.
Nocturne on the other hand could represent the more unspeakable terrors one might imagine - something that can hide in the shadows and darkness, has no footsteps, fast, merciless, messes with your mind and vision. Imagine if you had a stalker that fit the previous description. Would that scare you summoner Teenbus?
He will probably be some kind of children's legend come to life, like an evil spirit that wanders the land during the harrowing,
I would actually find it cool if Fiddle was from the vodoo lands.
The vodoo lands are the nation lead by
parents and they are pretty much unexplored, which is kinda sad, cause a state full with dark mages sounds pretty badass and Fiddle would fit into that pretty nicely.
The actual lore could be essentially be kept the way it is,just not with a summoner, but a mage. However I think that
should not sit in a room wating(cause that would more or less keep him from any interaction with other champs),maybe something like "he was summoned by his master(who may have gotten killed,or whatever),then he remained in the house until someone opened the door causing him to go outside and causing fear and terror to those who were unfortunate enough to meet him"
Just a short idea I made up on the spot, could probably need some work.
A better question would be, what about Nocturne and Lee-Sin type champions, who were literally molded/created by their interaction with the Institute and would not exist at all without it.
You could put almost Fiddle anywhere...
Bilgewater - Made from the timbers of a bloodthirsty pirate ship.
Zaun - Primitive hextech experiment with a piece of wood and a demon's heart.
Icathia - Fiddle is a void creature.
Even in the IoW, Fiddlesticks made no attempt to escape, or do anything except stand still and kill anyone who came too close. It probably isn't in his character to align himself with anybody. He could just be standing out in some field that people have learned to stay the hell away from.
