In comparison to her teaser, the splash doesnt look polished or finished and give me the impression something is missing.

Edit: Even the hair she hair in the client picture looks better than the teaser.....

Edit 2: The main point I was trying to make is that I was hoping for the same level of detail as the teaser in the client. That one tells a story, shows where she belongs. Even that pose shows dominance, that she is actually strong and in control of the situation. Whereas what we got ..... it looks like she was drawn first, and then they started thinking about what they wanted in the background. NOT TO EVEN MENTION THAT THE EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF WARTH IN THIS PICTURE MAKES HER SKIN LOOK ORANGE.

yeah tbh i was more excited about Yuumi and will enjoy her more as i love cats and she seems fun. This is just another god character lording their power...seen it before.

To play devil's advocate, I think he means that the splash doesn't feel dynamic. Like she was super photoshopped into the foreground. She doesn't seem to be related to the explosion neither does the explosion seem to affect her.

Edit: more concisely her splash doesn't feel like it tells a story

Just to give context, that's a Piltover bulldozer.

In the teaser on the roadmap, you see a bunch of her people watching it in action.

What you see is her, sassy af (as confirmed by Reav3) currently standing in front of the bulldozer after (what I'm she did) setting it up to explode.

That's what I'm seeing. She is so angry yet unconcerned with the safety of what's destroying her home that she doesn't look back or act concerned in the slightest after destroying machinery.

She doesn't look like the same character. Is she suppose to be mayan, latin inspired? Or black? Because before you answer that this would make her the first champ in League with latin, Mexican, mayan inspiration and I don't want her to be confused as being Black. Samething happened with reaper from Overwatch He was from LA and clearly Mexican but the fanbase couldn't tell and said he was black and took away some representation. It might not seem like a big deal, but giving a character it's own distinctions matters.

It looks hideous and somehow hard clashes with the outfit.

The character has no proper contrast aside from her hair, which just contrasts to much since it doesnt fit with the rest of her pallete.

Shes look better with red or purple eye shadow rather than green.

If they really wanted green it shouldve been black hair for the complementing colors.

I didn't notice how much curlier her hair is in the teaser, I'd really prefer that!

Also, I think what's missing from the splash is a well thought-out background. It feels like Star Guardian Lux or Arcade Sona. Beyond looking dull, a big explosion doesn't progress her character? I'm getting no "mastery of the elements" from that. She isn't Vi/Jinx.

I don't really get that impression at all, personally. She more reminds me of a snooty girl with "Oh ho ho ho" laugh (you know the one) from an anime. Which I think is intentional, since she is supposed to be royalty. I could maybe see her compared to a Disney Villain (like the Queen from Snow White, possibly) but not a "typical Disney princess".

Why does she wear so obvious a wig? Also, why are her hips as wide as what appears to be 2.75 times the width of her abdomen(rib cage height)? Maybe we're just too close to her hips and that's warping the perception. Hopefully she'll look fine in game.

Whoa, this was not what I was expecting her to look like...

I was thinking about something more Nidalee-like in style, but she looks like a princess instead. I wonder if that's going to be the case? She's the princess/empress of the new region?

Otherwise.... Eh. Her design's kind of bland right now tbh. Maybe her lore will clear things up, but right now she doesn't look that expectional to me.

Her look in the second pic gave me that original splash art for Sun Goddess Karma Vibe. Honestly, I think it would have been better to go with that look entirely in my opinion. The first picture does remind me of Smite in appearance; it reminds me of Neith.
