My tribute to it
Okay, Xerath is fucking evil. He killed a lot babies, then burned mom and child at the same time. He killed the Emperor and then lied about it. Manipulated Nasus and Renekton. At the final, he also killed another Emperor, which is Azir.
I love it. He is evil but for purpose. He feels bad after Azir's speech.
As long as Rammus is OK at the end of all this I'll be OK.

Welp, here goes Xerath's morally ambiguous background.
Azir's story of watching his family disintegrate is pretty brutal. I love how after though he's like 'But how did my lineage survive' when moments earlier we read how he had concubines, whores, and bastard children. Did you not remember your own bastard children Azir? Even Robert Baratheon would visit his.

Word on the PBE is that a new game mode has arisen with it. Not much info now, but Riot has made it clear that it is Definitely Not Dominion. [zombie-nunu-hearts]
Just wanted to point out something for the writers. Multiple time throughout both Xerath and Azir's stories they use "Dias" instead of "Dais". Paragraphs 14 and 16 of Azir's backstory and paragraphs 14,16 and 18 of Xerath's. These mistakes happen in the first part of each story, the itallic part is correct and uses "Dais". I thought it was interesting to note. Hope this helps !

Well written, good atmosphere, have feels (dat Xerath final tears). I like how they showed us Xerath as a real Magus rather than just an evil right hand, I'm still wondering what he wants to do now because it's been kept in a really vague writing. I kinda imagine his imprisoning like "The Sound of Silence":
"Hello darkness my old firend... ... And the people bow and brave to the Neon God they made..."
They're finally going to fix Skarner's lore!
As I said, Xerath was shocked when the ritual was over. He couldn't move and use anything, so Renekton and Nasus used this time! And no one believed to me.
Xerath was also extremely strong magus even when he was human.
Story is just perfect.

I'm going to be slightly disappointed if they're not giving Skarner a new splash, his current one is from 2011... and not great. But the new lore has me interested.
ohhhh Ammumu might be created by Xerath. Oh mer god Xerath made Ammumu when he brought a storm upon the new born to kill it.
