Is eve geting a new skin this year?

The thing is that if they make a skin for her now,they would have to change it again once she gets a VGU. I mean imagine the new skin coming with some new particles for her ultimate,causing some people to buy it,simply because the new ultimate looks cool. Then comes the rework and the ult gets replaced by another ability,causing everyone who bought the skin for the new ultimate to loose the coolest aspect of the skin.

Also there is actually a small chance that she gets a new skin this year. Currently the 2 VGU teams are working on and ,but the Galio team will likely finish him within the next few months(like something between febuary and april) and there is a high chance that they work on Evelynn after that(not guaranteed,but its a high chance),in which case we'd get the Eve VGU towards the end of the year. And while it is uncommon for a freshly reworked champ to get a skin right after the release of their VGU,it is not impossible either.(Nasus got his VU together with a skin and Taric got a new skin only 2 months after his update).

So while it is unlikely for her to get a skin this year,it isn't impossible either.

Well, depends when her vgu comes this year. If it comes after Galio, yes I think later this year. If it comes around harrowing or later I think not.

What is the exact date that she received her last skin? I am honestly curious to see a board with the chronologically most in need of a new skin for champions. Makes it easier to weigh who is in use at the moment and things like VGA's etc

If I'm correct by what Riot said, she only gotten her last skin because she's been without for super long, and that skin required minimal work to make/alter once her VGU arrives.

To be honest, I think safecracker was the best they can do without giving her an overhaul visually.

That being said, I bet she has a pretty good chance of getting a rework this year, and a skin would follow eventually.

Well Safecracker technically wasn't even supposed to be a thing because they wanted to do a VU for her before any new skins because her rig is garbage. We were lucky to even get that. I'm 99% sure she won't get anything until after get full-scale VGU, which is unfortunately in the near future (post Urgod)
