The bilgewater events were pretty epic, it would be extremely cool to see that turned into an animation, and I think it would be a major boost to the way the lore is presented in the future, I mean you've already got action figures, an animated series is the clear next step.
It's because they don't intend on making EVERY lore bit an animated video.
Not only that, but do remember that a LOT of people cried that we didn't get written lore stories that one could read.
Just becuase they had one event whose lore was written out and one other story doesn't mean they FULLY stopped making the videos. It just means they decided to not have THOSE be videos.

Also videos cost alot. They have done great story telling with different mediums
They need more peoples to buy skins.
