Can we learn a little more about Wood Weavers of Ionia?

Hello, I was rewatching the Discover Ionia /dev diary and I couldn't help but become more curious about Wood Weavers. For some reason, I think they sound really cool -- able to talk to trees and convince them into becoming places to live and the like. I was wondering if there was any more information on them available?

Also, are there people who can weave other things? What are those things, and who are those people? Can someone weave more than one thing? If so, who can or might?
