So, I was extremely surprised to find that the bio for Aphelios seems to have dropped already, him being the new champion. I'm not too sure how I feel about him yet, but so far, I may not necessarily be a fan? He seems like another edgy character, but I feel like I'll hold my opinion in that regard till we get the voice lines.

So his sister is essentially trapped in the spirit realm and comunicates with him in the physical realm?Since he is mute, I guess that his sister will do the speaking for him, I wonder though if he himself will have quotes similar to Sona or not.(after all we mostly hear the champs inner thoughts, so it would make sense to be able to hear him).
Overall I'm curious how he and Diana will interact, the lore of Aphelios makes him and his sister the figureheads of the lunari, but Diana herself is the literal aspect of the moon, meaning that Diana would stand above them in the cult, which could cause some interesting scenarios, maybe they are actually the ones who'll drive Diana into her zealous self that we see ingame. Sadly his lore doesn't really go into detail about his personality besides "zealous lunari", so its hard to say how he'd react to these events(granted it was said that the noctum numbed Aphelios to everything, so he'll likely be pretty aloof).
And to be honest, he looks really feminine, I wasn't sure if he was a guy or a girl when I first saw him.
EDIT: I'm also kinda glad that we are finally getting a targon champ who isn't an aspect or even closely related to them. I mean sure the aspects are important, but its not like every targon champ has to be one.

I wonder what sort of lines Aphelios.....it's more likely gonna be his sister's lines.....towards Leo. Obviously, it's gonna be pretty negative. She is their poster enemy. I can see why ever since Riot pushed her as this Solari zealot.
All this Targon stuff just makes me want more Leo & Diana lore.

I don't see anything interesting in his design I didn't even expect to get a new champ so soon I just hope he's not yet another overloaded champ but I'm sure it will be just by seeing his obnoxious design and the fact he has a ghost by his side which will proly be a part of his kit. With this I'm kinda worried about Leona as a character; not suggesting that Rito are gonna retcon her into something terrible, but what side of this fight she comes down on. She's my original Main, and her whole persona is protective; she was chosen by the Aspect of the Sun for standing up for the helpless. I'm hoping she calls out the Solari purges and tries to restore balance; I fear she might be made the primary villain because she's the only named Solari, and it's totally against her character so far.
I trust the Riot Story Team, and I want to keep trusting them, but what I don't trust is what a room full of corporate bosses without a functioning imagination between them might order the team to do.

Look carefully at the splash art, everybody seems to have just ignored it, it's not part of Alune.
Aphelios is basically an ADC that can switch to melee form.
Also the way I see it : Alune is the champ, Aphelios is just the weapon since he's mute.
