Fiora's story ends with her ascending past her cowardly Father as the new head of House.

The head of the House of Laurent.

But her story never explains the story of her House or her lineage in any greater depth.

And why the House's Honor is important.

It's likely that the Laurents are simply a wealthy and influential family; maybe not big in a political sense, but they've risen high enough in society to have made some major connections in court. I don't think Fiora is a baroness or a countess... MAYBE a viscountess, if we're to assume Demacia would have such a role.
