I have no idea what other people think but could this possibly of been the case for Evelynns part of the lore, even though it doesn't explain how she got to the Shadow Isles r any of that but whatever I didn't put much effort into this
Holy crap that'd be a twist.
Eve technically has no connection to the shadow islands in current lore. Her history is a mystery. However, the alters on the Twisted Treeline do have unique quotes for her (or she gets the generic shadow island champ quotes, can't remember which) so it is possible she knows the two alter spirits, who are presumed to be the ruined king and the queen.
It's pretty much been nodded and winked at enough by riot to confirm she's got something to do with those islands. She could be some creature of death/vampire/soul stealer thing that existed before the shadow islands, and has since migrated there. She could be some spirit being like kench, something that changes over time in appearance, but exists as an expression of humanity's dark tendencies. Either way, she wouldn't have to be on the islands to be affected by them and become a part of them.
