Annie needs a VGU/redesign in the future

First of all, annie, gameplay wise is ok but her initial design is something out of an ordinary in the world of runatera. There is no state in runatera that wears the same significance as annie. It's like her design is in our modern world(here on earth) and that design wouldn't fit in the lore of league unless zaun people can wear modern outfits like ours. But i think zaun people's code dress consist of punk,emo,with chemtecth outfits so she wouldn't fit in there while in piltover the code dress is some kind of a steampunky clothes. In noxus, it wouldn't be the case either because their outfits is kinda fancy looking and random except clothes from our modern society. So how is it then?? Days ago someone started theories about annie's new origins and 1 got my attention. The demcia to noxus/zaun migration and its a fantastic idea so my proposal is that if you guys, at riot, do a VGU of annie please change her attire to be suitable in the world of runatera and if you insist of changing her outfit please make a traditional skin because i love her base design too :D thats all peace ou!!

EDIT: Yup if annie is indeed gonna get a VGU, I think she will gonna get a traditional skin because annie is an iconic character in the game and she is one of the mascots of this game :D

Traditional skins were stopped years ago.

Annie already had a VU in 2013, and a Gameplay Update in 2016. So She's fine.

riot can just easily eat their words you know. look at pulsfire cait,maps etc. they said in the past they wont do either of those

No. They said they wouldn't do maps as skins. Alternate maps were on the table again after the 2014 visual update. It just took time to work them out.

Also no one has ever given any proof that Riot said Ultimates would be the only ones with said themes. So that's nothing again.

sorry to say this but riot really said in the past that ultimate's will only have a one distinct unique theme meaning there is no theme other than that ultimate skin and do you read the nexus??? riot just clearly stated that they want to give us maps in the future because we love them...

Annie already got visual update with an entire new model, animations and splash art, she doesnt need anything else. Only clueless people would say she needs second vgu.

i said in the future not today. does this mean annie does not have to be updated in the future?? think please.. the future keeps evolving and simply VGU's will not end like the ryze VGU's

It doesn't really work like that, with that thinking the entire game would have to be updated agian and again, with the update to summoner's rift league follows its own graphic style which is unique and doesn't age, if they would give visual update to a champion only to give them another one in the future they are better off to just make a new game . In all the other mobas people would never say ''x'' character needs a new model etc, the same thing League is trying to do now.

but its the cycle of games. riot needs to update its game to cope up in every games as possible so a continuous VGU may occur in the future.

its not the cycle of games, i have never seen another moba that needs to update their character models this only happens with League and if they need to do it all the time it clearly means that theres something wrong with the game's structure in the first place

Ryze had only one real VGU. The other thing was a texture rebalance,which is something that roughly half of the champions got when the summoners rift was updated.

The only champ who really got 2 VUs is Gangplank.

Also with so many champs on the update list,it'll take easily over 5 years before anyone would even consider to update her again.

If Riot decides to redesign Annie, she might be the last one to get a traditional Annie skin since her design is pretty iconic. I know that they said that they don't do Traditional skins anymore, but when it comes to Annie, I think she might be considered the only exception.

Yup i believe so too. she is one of the mascots in the game so she is indeed gonna get a traditional skin from riot. :D

Annie is officially from Noxus IIRC, but honestly her outfit doesn't matter; she's a little girl and can wear all the pink and purple she wants, perhaps made with dyes imported from a conquered outpost.

atleast it doesn't justify the fact that her outfit is out of place in the league universe. and annie is not from noxus, he is from voodoo lands but voodoo lands is now gone and her lore is outdated.

I hope not, her traditional character model right now is PERFECT.

I like the innocent back-pack wearing little girl with the cat ears and the teddy bear who wields one of the greatest powers in the universe. She looks like she could easily be the main character in a different type of game (ex a Crash Bandicoot style platformer with spells) and it looks cool.

Overall it is more likely that Annies lore will be adjusted to her design than the other way around.

Because right now it'll take years before Annie could even be considered for a VGU.

I mean in the following years we can expect ~5 VGUs per year,but there are easily more than 30 champs(if not even 40) who need a VGU more than Annie,meaning that an Annie VGU would be plausible in 6-8 years... And with the current speed of lore updates it is much more likely that annie gets a lore update in that time.

yup. this is the response that i want to hear too. IDK why people are so offensive these days and idk why they keep on down voting my comments and this post. is it because they don't like it?? then why not just ignore it and i didn't even said that annie would get a VGU next and its like that argument is what they interpret or they want to conduct ... like jeez
