Warwick: The Wrath of Zaun | Champion Teaser

"I told you this was a bad deal, man."

◦ What deal could they be making? Chemical Warfare? His shotgun apparently uses said goo(?) as ammunition, also their mask uses the same chemicals, or maybe everyone in Zaun just like glow-y green color.

◦ Why do they need to make a deal when there was plenty of those green chemicals in the alley way that scary guy( first person view) knocked over?(Joke)

And with whom is this deal occurring? Singed?

◦ Is Warwick chasing them because hes being forced? Singed's Guard Dog?

◦ Is a component to the chemicals human flesh, ·blood, organs, which is why it is so scarce to have make a deal with a mad man?

◦ Does Warwick need to feast? Is Singed leading criminals that won't be missed to their deaths because of this?

◦ Is this all a game to Warwick? Thrill of the hunt? ?

◦ He seems to be on a mission, once the first one is dead he is about to leave, but stops after smelling the other person.

◦ Oddly enough, he seemed to be on the Warwick rework team because he knows one of his abilities , Blood Scent (old name of ability), by looking at his hand and saying "Oh No". Or perhaps he has Hemophilia? Afraid of Blood? Doesn't like the color red?

◦ Is the deep "I found you" music sound made by Warwick himself by his tail sweeping against the steam reservoir? When he destroys the steam reservoir does he know hes trying to spoop this guy? Is Warwick that in tune with mood setting? Is it really called a steam reservoir?

◦ The chemicals running through his body heat up to an extent for metal to begin glowing (1000 degree knife LUL) as well as his eyes, chest, inside of his mouth(because of the existence of the chemicals in his chest) symbols on his shoulders(actuators or valves , they glow too). Does that hurt him, the steaming hot chemicals? Makes him angrier? Is Warwick a masochist?

Here we go.

Alright, so the teaser in the client has a small phrase along with it. It hints that Warwick is an "engineered beast" who hunts down criminals in Zaun. This seems a bit odd given his old lore, and would be almost a complete flip from the side he was last on.

My theory is that Warwick is an experiment either by Singed or some other scientist from Zaun. He acts as a sort of guard-dog security detail, but much more potent. The augmentation on his back suggests that he's been equipped with the tools to track people based solely on the presence of their blood.

My guess is that in the teaser, the two men who are running from Warwick have stolen something from Warwick's creator/master, and thus he's been tasked with hunting them down.

As for his kit, I have a few guesses as well. We can almost certainly say that he has a blood scent-esque ability again. He also has a massive claw that changes color, as if to suggest an empowered attack. He also showcases a long-range leap. However, it should also be noted that when the man in the video gets sliced and Warwick's augmentations turn red, he seems to stagger a bit and almost looks injured.

There are a few ways I could imagine this working out. My first (and personally favorite guess) is that when Warwick is below a certain health threshhold, his abilities are augmented. I would also presume that he possesses an ability that damages himself intentionally, to gain access to these, while possessing inherent lifesteal to get back above the health threshhold. These augmentations might give him a leap to low-health targets in a certain range, vision of them, an empowered AoE auto attack (think Rengar, but more of a swipe) or something like that. This would leave him with a choice: keep his health at a high level for durability and to guard against getting caught at the cost of chase potential and damage, or intentionally lower his health (risky) in order to gain access to some form of augmented abilities.

The other (and probably more likely) solution would keep more of his old kit and also keep him relatively simple. The large claw could replace his Q, making it a short range cone swipe skillshot, or maybe a modified auto attack. His ultimate would likely be the leap, maybe something similar to his current ultimate. Then, his blood scent could empower these abilities on low health targets such as making him heal for more on his empowered AA or making his jump have an execute mechanic on low health targets.

This is all speculation, but it's all I can put together with the info we have so far.

I think his ult might possibly hurt him in turn for dealing mass amounts of damage or something.

IMO The story of how Singed lost Warwick plus the fact that he said that all of Zaun is his hunting grounds leads me to believe that Warwick is some kind of crazy monster fueled by lust for blood, due to killer instincts. However the little part of humanity left in him wants to get revenge for what Singed has done, so he is targeting evil or bad people, in the hopes of eventually finding and killing singed, or so that no one will ever have to feel the pain that he felt.
