Narsicus3 votesYeah, in the old lore Warwick was the head scientist guy before Singed. Singed took over after Warwick was cursed by Soraka to become a blood hunting beast thing.
So I guess they might have been on cordial terms? I don't think their past relationship was ever really delved into, but its been a while and I could certainly be wrong about that.

midnight oil241 votesActually, in one issue of the JoJ, WW goes feral and Singed is the one who calms him down, then says he'd never seen his friend like that. So I think they were friends, or at leas a teacher student thing.

Warwick tried to kill Soraka, as he needed her heart for a potion.
He couldn't get the heart, so he consumed the incomplete potion.
The result was the feral wolf-man we know and love.
Narsicus1 votesMaybe it was the older lore, but I am pretty sure that at one point Soraka cursed Warwick for his chemical warfare toward Ionia.
This caused Soraka to fall from grace since she was not supposed to use her powers to hurt others.

Bad times, so Soraka Filled with Righteous fury curses Warwick the teacher of singed to be a beast on the outside as much as he was inside. Which reduced her to mortal and turned her purple and goat legged.
Then There was Hunter Warwick who worked for singed and wanted a potion to be the very best. Said potion needed Soraka heart and he failed to get it and turned into Wolf-man instead of evil captain america. Forever hunting soraka to achieve full power.

Beastly Benito3 votesWell it could be a test subject that Warwick supplied to his friend Singed. Now that the beast is lose, maybe it hunts down Warwick to get its revenge. Singed shows up just in time to help his friend in this intense battle. At the end of the battle Warwick and Singed Kill subject #1088, but Warwick was mortally wounded. Singed seeing what happened to his friend he takes everything he has learned to save Warwick, but intern changing him in to a crazed beast himself. (jk tho. It's Warwick. They wouldn't have spent so much on the metal claw if it wasn't.)
