I bet the real Star Guardian skins are locked behind chromas-Lack of "new" content

Come on guys didn't this be the first thing you thought when you saw the new SGs? They are going to add "Event Exclusive Chroma" to every new SG skin that makes them look like actual Star Guardians. They will only be available through event currency or if you buy the "bundle". You can see it coming from a mile away.

They look nothing like Star Guardians except Neeko, and Neeko hardly resembles a human. ( Yeah yeah Ahri Lulu Poppy aren't actually human but the are objectively more humanoid than Neeko )

Then how do we make them look like Star Guardians then Pastor Yorick? Well of course my naive child, Riot is so desperate for money that they are going to make you additionally buy the chromas they are going to release for the said skins to make them "complete".

They look like Dark Star+Odyssey rejects filled with cute stars and branded "Star Guardians". Are we mixing skin lines now Riot? Are we going to pay chromas to make them look like a specific skin-like? Don't bother posting on twitter that you are going to "change this",we saw all the needed changes you guys do in PROJECT Jinx!

What's next, are you going to make skin mashups? Mecha+Project? Coven+Death Sworn? We just want proper champions getting proper skins for the suiting theme and (I pray to god maybe just once this year) a new event gamemode. Why didn't you make a Star Guardian Kayle that changed from school uniform to SG dress go against Corrupt Guardian Morgana and made them fight? What does the quote "I will find you before her darkness burns you all away." mean from the teaser with this squad of "Star Guardians"? Why not Star Guardian Sona,Taric,Leblanc,Evelynn,Kayle,Morgana?

Was dropping glitter and sparkles on Neeko/Zoe/Rakan/Xayah all it took to make them Star Guardians when they are obviously Dark Star themed? Well some people said they are "corrupted Guardians", then why did you choose a madly-in-love coupe and a child for "corrupt Guardians trying to destroy all light in the universe"? If they are corrupt why are you calling them Star Guardians?Don't we have Dark Star for that stuff? If you seriously gave up so hard on the creativity game then you can just stop bothering with posters,wallpapers minion skin changes for the "events" and just sell them casual like you sell any other skin.

The reason I am so disappointed and upset because SG is the only real skin line I care about. It comes once every 2 years,I turned blind eye to every other mistake because I thought maybe Riot will actually put some effort into Star Guardians, since they are so popular right?

Effort and Riot Games, choose one

4 bland, half baked, mashed-together, imposter skins. Add in a recolored grind ticket, remix music of the last time, and a shiny golden chroma and you got yourself an "Event". Repeat this for an entire year to get the entire content of season 9

No new announcer, no new gamemode, no new Star Guardians...Not a single good thing for an entire goddamn year and there are still people buying these season passes and prestige skins for god knows why.

Honestly, they do look a bit too much Dark Star for my taste, and I'm not talking about the purple tones, as that is more Darkness related that anything, but those + representing stars over their faces, as that is exactly what Dark Cosmic Jhin has.

Zoe looks ok for what her is, she was already needing a Dark skin that reflect how messed up she really is, but with Xayah and Rakan they could really go all out and add a switch to turn them Light/Dark, if you really wanted to keep the theme, make it with a timer or something, as if they do something they get light, but if they don't repeat that X they slowly turn dark again, until they turn all black like Rakan and Xayah in their recall...

Neeko is Neeko, no set opinions on her yet, doesn't look that bad, but want to see her in higher quality before saying anything

Kayle and Morgana do seem perfect for this skinline, but maybe their personalities don't? Not sure why they aren't the chosen ones

I would really love to have another updated star guardian event, but maybe with Zoe as final boss, like in Odyssey....

Im pretty sure they are corrupted by the Dark Star which is why they look so similar. Besides they've done it before with Kayn being Odyssey and Dark Star with Rhaast and Jhin being a Cosmic being corrupted by the Dark Star. Thats what the Dark Star skinline is, a corrupting universal idea with Rhaast possibly opening the gate to the Star Guardian universe it would make sense for those SG monsters and for Rakan, Xayah, and Zoe being corrupted. If this is true which Im hoping for Im super happy for it because Dark Star is my favorite skin line
