The Sad Part About Lore

The fact that after the JoJ, we only got lore past champ bios once every year/years. The Freljord event , and the Shurima stuff were a year apart or more. We are getting no content now, and we weren't getting content before the retcon either after JoJ.

No content isn't exactly the right word considering.

No real progression in stories, characters or otherwise? Affirmative.

No real consistency in releases of stuff? Yep.

No content? Well not really, but I suppose it depends on what you personally count as content. The content we've had abides to the following:

  • It's tied to either a champion or a region as part of an event.
  • It's mostly introductory stuff and rarely includes other champions.
  • It's all still effectively the first chapter of the story for these things. The setup.

It still counts as content that is focused on lore and stuff, but it's inconsistent in how often it's put out and lacks substantial progress. So there is content, just not too much and not that substantial. Doesn't mean said content is completely and utterly bad on its own but you get what I mean by now.

What I believe is, Narrative won't show anything due to the pitchforks outside the window. lol, can't they under stand that if they won't actually try to quell the mob the right way, fan's will not change?

Think about it like this: Kalista has only been in the game a little while but in the lore she has been around for a long time. Much of what we now have as lore is going to be replaced. The world would become stale if everything focused on the "League" that doesn't exist anymore.
