I mean, is it possible for Stranglethorns not to die with the death of Zyra? Would her child born in the human way posses the same plant features (ergo, did the magic body-transfer influence the sorceress DNA) or does she produce seeds (I mean, I understand the game seeds which she is surely also able to make in the lore as a pat of Zyra herself, not her ascendants - corect me if I'm wrong)? Would be pretty sad if not...
Look, we don't want to hear about your fantasies of making Zyra pregnant. She wouldn't want you anyway even if she existed.

It depends on how Zyra operates and whether she can asexually reproduce in her current form. I'd assume the strangelthorns could because, y'know, they're plants, but Zyra, right now? Debatable.

Maybe she releases spores and ends up creating a new species of plant people.
As far as her body goes, she used the mage's body as a template. She did not possess it. Judging by the vines flowing out of her skin, the tone and shine of her skin, the leaves that are everywhere, and the lack of genitalia(seriously, a leaf wouldn't do a good job of covering, not to mention it is fused with her skin...) she probably is a plant that looks like a person, and therefore reproduces asexually(or rather, without physical sex as plants do).
Her plants on the rift are her children, however, she uses magic to accelerate their growth to help them protect her, but this saps their life and makes them die faster. I'm sure if she settled down and let her children grow at a steady pace, she could actually restart her race. But, she would also have to make sure that her children don't kill everything in sight like her family did.
