I just opened a crate and got Annie in wonderland. I was exited to see it was legendary, but when I looked up the skin I was disappointed to see it had no particle changing effects (aside from tibbers). Why does riot not go back and add particles to old legendaries and bring them to the quality they hold them to now.
Fire fighter Tristana is a 1820 rp skin. But it doesn't even have different recall animation, nor a different voice. The only thing that changes are the particles. The skin is just like every other 975 rp skin. I'm just happy I bought it in 50% off sale a few years back.
only thing up with Annie in Wonderland is that it's getting a new splash when Annie's skin splash update comes along in the future [zombie-nunu-bummed]
In general I wouldn't expect any big changes for legendary skins that went to the vault already. Because annie in wonderland was already updated once and didn't get anything special and the same happened with the legendary skins of Heimerdinger,Tristana and Twisted fate. So far the only legendary skin that received a noteable update that actually improved it quality wise was Gatekeeper Galio and that was only done because Gatekeeper was already close to the current legendary standard before the update(and even the new gatekeeper isn't on par with modern legendaries).
I hope they rework Eternum Nocturne.
It's mostly for bragging rights
As a newish League player that has spent a lot of money on skins, I personally would LOVE to see some of these older skins reworked. I love them but they are ohhhh so ugly in game.
I just wish Blood Lord Vladimir got new splash art, it's not that it's terrible it's just that it isn't the quality that Riot has today.
