Turmoil - New Demacia Story

I feel it is really important that this story is made because I remember lot of people talking about how one depict a nation as bad or good.

Demacia is standing against the limits of its own inertia toward its system and its repressive politic, it isn't about a bad or good nation, it is about repression and the repercussion you create when you discriminate a part of the population for something they can do nothing about.

It isn't bad, it is because it is true that magic is a risk, it is like in our own world, people could be born with the power to make things explode by a snap of fingers. Attributed at birth, it is like being born with your mouth ready to shoot a grenade. It isn't something easy to discuss, especially because magic create fear. I feel it is a lot of people being faced with a system that don't work anymore, that can't continu like this.

And the question is do you need to reform it or do you need to destroy it, Sylas obviously want to destroy demacia like how it is now while others want to be able to make demacia change for the better. But can you blame Sylas for not believing in the higher up changing the system? Can you blame the soldiers for wanting to protect their kingdom from the thing they fear, even if they also believe something is wrong?

Noxus and Demacia has a lot of corruption and inner problem to solve.

I’m pretty sure I know the answer to this. But I’ve asked it for every other Demacia update so might as well continue the tradition.

Does it focus on the mage problem?

This caught my eye. With the commentary on how Ascension is tied to one's culture/ideals, is this saying that Taric's aspect is a deity in Demacia?

Turmoil was really the standout though. I hope we're getting another new story tomorrow that explains exactly what's going on in the capital? Or is it just that Sylas escaped

I like this time story update.

As for my thoughts on, It's not that Demacian want to persecute magic. They just do not know how to handle magic, And surely magic is dangerous. However, if I mention the their problem, Demacian are "narrow-mindedly". For example, Cyrus is trying to change the country by the revolution. But he is also ”a narrow minded Demacian” and only knows 'force' as a way to change. (He participated in mage hunting) In other words, Cyrus is trying to change "the taint of Demarcia", but he also embodies "the taint of Demarcia"

But Lux may be able to change Demarcia in other ways.
