There a lot champions that don't have lore at all and Starguardians Pajama Skins get a Short Story

First I'm sure it's a lovely story and I'm sure it's good because I love the stories made by Ariel 'ThermalKitten' Lawrence. This is by no means an attack to her.

I'm just... upset. Really. I hate Starguardians because they mainly have the popular champions and their real universe forms get huge load of lore, then they get an alternative universe and it gets a lot lore too. Some champion's alternate realities are more detailed then some of the champions we have in league. But then Soraka has no lore in main universe so you can say that tilts me too.

Meanwhile these champions still didn't recieve in the means of lore since the very start of League of Legends:

Plus most of the yordles and Void creatures. There is also champions like in limbo state.

Again I have no means of insulting anyone, it can be just me. It can also be because i hate Lux and Ezreal getting everything.

Please forgive me Ariel... but when is the champion I love will get spotlight?

Cassiopeia does have up to date lore with the Shurima fiasco. There's even a short story about her return to Noxus following her transformation. She's pretty up to date.

I really think they need to just update everyone in one big lore update(s), no waiting for a new Yordle or Shadow Isles champ to update it. Then they can do their quirky stories and skin lore updates as they please.

I mean, what or why even is Corki?

A story, about some idiots in pajamas, in a game where people kills each other is pretty stupid. But they noticed that that sells.

Oookay ... Skin lore and canon lore are two different things. As someone already stated (I think it was Scathelocke, could be wrong tho), canon lore cannot be updated as often as they would like. I'm sure they already have many things in store, ready to be released. But you have to understand that the lore is tied to what happens in game (not in the canon sense, I know Institute of War isn't canon anymore), which means they have to follow the game's updates. They do release new stuff sometimes when nothing is coming (Syndra, iirc, got a lore update out of nowhere), but still : Star Guardian is one of those skinverse that have a lore, and it seems logical to me that they release some stuff when the skins come out. Plus, with Neeko's release, we'll most likely have a Nidalee update, and potentially one for Zyra too. They will update everything, I trust them about that, we just have to be patient.

From what I can tell, new lore basically just comes with champions and reworks. Skin lines sometimes get some lore when new skins are released.

I don't particularly like waiting a while for lore updates but it's an understandable system and makes sure the most relevant champions get stories at a time (if multiple stories are released at the same time they probably link up in some way).

But the question is, does writing this story stops the entire lore team from working on other stuff?

Do we even know who writes the skins lore? Is it the lore team? Is it time consuming for them? etc etc. I personally don't think that this is going to get in the way of them making amazing lore for the champions that need it. Also if they are going to revamp lore, it's probably going to be during an event, not just out of the blue. Leave the pajama skins alone ):<

Been waiting for Sona lore for a long, long time now. Closest we've gotten is the Odyssey lore, and honestly I kinda hate the skinline so it just makes it sting more.

I imagine it's much easier to write a story based on a much smaller, limited universe than trying to fit a character into a much larger world with enough connections to keep them from being their own small bubble.

I liked the story, but yeah it is weird that we know more about AU versions of Soraka and Lulu than we do their normal versions.

If a champ that you love doesn't have any revised lore yet you should be happy that they aren't just rushing something out and are instead working hard to come up with something really good. While I know not all the reworked lore has been welcomed you can tell that a lot of work goes into writing the stories and creating the new art work. They will eventually get to all the champions you just have to be patient.

What do you think is easier to do in a single story: building off an already established lore and world to introduce some alternate skins, or building an entirely new world and lore surrounding that?

There has also been stories on K/DA, High Noon, and odyssey. Why care about this?
