I'm not against to make nunu a yordle. How about you?

Like the title, I'm much more in favor of making nunu a yordle with willump the yeti. It is because, it makes the dynamic duo more diverse specially in world building & power fantasy and not some type of a child meets a monster friendship kinda cliche'. Another thing is that yordles are LOL exclusives makes it kinda original.

Not to mention, making nunu a yordle is not that hard considering their new story. > Frolicking through the hills of the Freljord, Nunu and Willump make an unlikely pair, but many travellers would swear they have seen the yeti with a fearless boy clinging to his back. Though Nunu may have tamed the beast's heart, Willump's anger remains, fueled by a ravenous hunger. Some have even tried to separate the two, yet the bond of friendship between them is stronger than any chain, and they continue to ramble on their wild adventures. >

First of all, their story is not from their perspective. Making it just some claims by the people meeting them. That's why their story can be altered. Specially that this is just a place holder for nunu's bio until his VGU comes.

So why not just make him a yordle, bonding with a yeti?

With the introduction of yordles having dust particles to hide their true form. Lets just assume that this can happen to nunu if he'll be a preteen yordle in the future. Imagine if nunu is travelling to freljord, fascinated by its history, myths and relics. Then one day, he came across a town where a group of yeti's live, possibly the last group of yeti's in the freljord, meaning, the yeti's are endangered in runeterra. In this town willump is the village elder and he has a family of 4. In this town, nunu studied their culture and beliefs and even befriending the yeti's. Then one day, Lissandra commands the trolls to invade the town to make the yeti's as slaves and making them as a war weapon/soldiers for her. Because of their power to use ice and snow. First, because of the yeti's resistance and their fast temper, the town became a war zone. Secondly, deaths occurred with the yeti's and trolls. willump's kids died, some yeti's got captured specially willumps wife and with the war occurring, nunu hide in the nearest forest with fear. Lastly, After the war was over, nunu immediately goes back to the town to spot some survivors. But only willump was the only survivor in the area. Telling nunu that the trolls have won and his last resort was to play dead while the trolls leave with the captured yeti's. Making nunu angry while aiding willump. After this event, Nunu change goals and swears to avenge willump's town and to help willump release his comrades and his wife.

In the present day, Nunu and willump are unseparable. Their friendship grew stronger, even nunu revealing that he is a yordle to willump and willump teaching nunu how to use ice/snow magic. They became like father and son. Nunu even gives some dust to willump to make him look human enough when they're gather some information about the trolls who wreck willumps town and the mastermind behind it. After that, they came across ashe and told her what happen, easily befriending her and joining her army. Because the two doesn't have the capacity to fight the trolls alone and having allies is nice option.
