Why were lines for Kassadin, Zilean, and yordles recorded but never implemented? Seems like a terrible waste, especially since all recently released champions, with the exception of 
, have interactions with other champions.

I mean these lines are used for the BC skin for some reason,but its not like the bc-skin wouldn't be worth its money without these lines(it still has new effects and stuff,so it is definetly fitting for this price category) and these lines have no connection to the bc-skin itself,but only with Vel'Kozs own character.
The worst part is that Riot never even answered why they didn't include these lines >.>

Sharjo2 votesPretty sure it was a mistake on their part that never got fixed. There's actually a fair bit of audio for some champs that's missing ingame, but still exists. Technically this isn't anything to do with the narrative team though, it's the sound design guys as far as I know who handle this.
DwarvenGiant2 votesThey were implemented only for the Battlecast skin for some reason.. :P Perhaps Riot did it to raise the quality of the skin even more compared to his classic skin and future skins (including Arbiter/Arclight Vel'Koz), but I dunno..
A Superb Villain1 votesThe problem with making them skin exclusive, in addition to being simply skin exclusive, is that they are not explicitly tied to Battlecast Vel'Koz. His comments on Zilean's potential secret or fascination with Kassadin's mutation is more appropriate for his classic skin than the lobotomized Battlecast.
Helmight1 votesThis. I didn't understand why Riot would essentially price-lock all of Vel'Koz's unique interactions. Pretty much every champion released since Season 3 has had interactions with other characters without needing a skin, so IDK why Vel was a special case. Riot should definitely give him his lines back.

DwarvenGiant1 votesOh.. Then it must be a mistake on Riot's part, that never got fixed, as Sharjo said. Or it could be a mistake in the Wiki, and they do play in game, but are labeled "Unused" in the Wiki. I'd test this when I have some time, and then I'll update. :)
