How did Azir go from his resurrection and raising Shurima from the sands to fighting endlessly on Summoner's Rift?
Just wanted to point out that this would be a strawman version of the League.
A reasonable version of the League would enhance Azir's story. Without the League, one would expect Azir to have to immediately subordinate himself to a major power (like Demacia or Noxus) to avoid getting steamrolled and having all his fancy magic taken as spoils. With the League, he can go to the Council and seek recognition as a sovereign member-state. He can then start recruiting Champions and Summoners as allies to contribute to his efforts to revive Shurima. This allows his nascent state to rise without being immediately pillaged.
Small point: just getting tired of people who defend the erasure of the League by insisting that it's either "no League" or "all-powerful evil mind-controlling League that puppets Champions and locks everyone away to fight forever".
