So after delving into literally everything K/DA, I apologize.

I made a thread saying that K/DA ahri was stupid because "Pop Star" ahri already existed, but after the video (which i've watched enough I could probably just close my eyes to see it at this point) and it's allusions to a laundry room with the pop star outfit front an center, combined with the "Interview" story on universe, I get it now. Ahri was forced into a bubblegum popstar role she wasnt happy in, left her label, and formed K/DA with Eve (and eventually Kai'sa and Akalli) to do the music she REALLY wanted to.

That's actually a brilliant thing to pull off, allowing both to exist not at the same time "together" but still there as almost points of a history. Well done stories team, or skins, or both, any and all people who put all those little hints together! I love the skins and this one song finally pushed me over the cliff into the Kpop fandom too.

Dear god tho i'm scared what a full album or concert would do to my wallet. [sg-ahri-1]

I'm still not too happy about Ahri being part of K/DA as the writers could technically put anyone in that spot but at least they gave a good narrative and implementation to it (unlike Kai'sa who has been set up as lead dancer but only had two moves where she was put center stage throughout the entire video). Also given that Ahri did launch with the Korean Servers it's only fitting for the KPOP group to include her.
