@Riot, Can Omega Squad Teemo be considered canon?

While I know almost all skins are wright of the back not canon, Im not really 100% in that mindset with this skin and some others as well. Omega Squad Teemo Teemo matches his lore quite nicely and may even fill in some lore gaps during his time in the Yordle Military.

His lore states: "Even as a young recruit, the drill instructors and other trainees found it a little disconcerting that, while Teemo was normally charming and kind, he turned deadly serious and highly efficient the minute combat exercises began. Teemo's superiors quickly steered him toward the Scouts of the Mothership, which is one of Bandle City's most distinguished Special Forces unit alongside the Megling Commandos."

What if the Omega Squad is a sub-division Spec Ops group for the Scouts of the Mothership, trained for the most dangerous recon and assassination missions for the Yordle military.

The same thing could be said about Spirit Guard Udyr Udyr , which would portray Udyr as how he would eventually look like when he reaches spirituality in that one Temple Lee Sin brought him in.

We all know Teemo as a cute, but sadistic champion, this skin finally shows that sadistic side of him we all feared but wanted to see.

Riot already made several canon skins before, will this one be no different....

I'd like to think of it as a cannon alternate universe. Edit: Similar to Pulsefire Ezreal, Spirit guard Udyr, Glorious Evolution, ect.

Exactly. Me and my Brother think that, since Teemo is clearly using highly advanced tech in Omega Squad, that Viktor attempted to start the Glorious Evolution without the Arcane Crystal. While due to Viktor's energy limitations the evolution failed, his Battlecast managed to destroy most major governments. When the Battlecast finally fell, there was no structured society left, leaving Runeterra in anarchy. During the war, the Battlecast destroyed Bandle City, and Teemo was the only survivor. This would be why he is so hateful AND why his tech is so powerful. Also, in his splash art he is in the jungle. I think this is the world overgrown in the post-apocalyptic world.

I actually saw the Omega Squad like a 'Watchmen' kinda thing. That, even though they don't live that way now... They did at one time... but they kinda miss it.

I can imagine him all happy as Teemo usually is, but when something reminds him of that time, he gets totally into that moment.

I think Omega teemo isn't canon,because lets face it,this skin is still rather different from regular teemo,it depicts teemo after he breaks completely(also it shows us how he killed several champs with their non-canon-skins),but it is something that canon teemo could very easily turn into.

Technically true; Teemo becomes amoral by shutting off his empathy so killing is easier for him to perform, Veigar is just outright evil.

Apply that logic in reverse; Luxanna is actually an eldritch abomination crammed into the body of a young woman whose blood is light. Every time she uses an ability, it is basically cutting herself.

just remember both of them supposedly have many forms so western Nyarlathotep and Japanese Nyarlathotep can make themselves look like the other just the personalities would be a bit more creepy. I don't think that people would like a being like western nyarlo to be crazy in love and want to sleep with someone, and japanese nyaruko being someone who manipulates people and seemingly has no empathy would also be bad.

I will asume actually Omega squad teemo is part of pulsefire storyline, with the battlecast ones.

basically Viktor started conquering the world, and killing a bunch of people, so pulsefire traveled to the past (Our present) to stop him.

so we can asume in this timeline teemo evolved in a hardcore hunter, way beyond even rengar.

For me, the skin is "half" Canon... why?

Because, even if it shows the true nature of Teemo on combat. Omega Squad Teemo lost his "other half", and talks about things that have not happened in the present.

Plot Twist:

Omega Teemo is the new VU of Teemo, and his other skins will be upgraded to match it's quality.

Size is a liability.

It can be assumed that his eventual VU will be based roughly off of that same rig. I don't for a second believe any of these skins are a replacement for a real VU.

Well all of those skins may as well be canon if some certain criteria happen in the future. Possible future outcomes. One can only hope if the skins in the game represent champions in different universes and/or timelines.
